PS Knits was established in 2000. However, I purchased by first knitting machine in 1988. I was doing custom sewing at the time and wanted to expand my creative services to include custom knitting. Unfortunately, my knitting machine dealer went out of business before I received my first lesson. Fortunately, there was a local knitting club that came to my rescue. I am still involved in our local knitting club, and members of this club were also members of the club that I found in Elkhart, Indiana. I currently enjoy knitting for personal enjoyment. Friends and family are often recipients of my enjoyment. I am also working on creating patterns that work with the Artisan Mid-gauge knitting machine, since becoming an Authorized Dealer for Artisan Knitting Machines. December 2007 PS Knits took on a Studio LK 150 dealership. The Studio LK 150 is a single bed mid-gauge machine. It is fun, portable and user friendly. This machine relates well to hand knitting yarns and patterns.
